We have a number of useful files, all for free, to help you with magneto related tasks. Some of them contain the sort of stuff that's invaluable when you are working on your magneto on a Saturday afternoon, and you need to have the bike running for a Sunday run. So, even if you don't need anything right now, bookmark this page.

Timing discs

Each of our timing disc files contains clockwise and anti-clockwise versions of the timing disc. If your printer can do it, you can print the timing discs straight onto card, cut around the outline and cut out the hole. Alternatively you can print on paper, and then stick the paper to a sheet of card or laminate it.

All timing discs are 180mm diameter with one degree graduations, clearly marked every 10 degrees with the angle and, usefully, whether it is before or after TDC or BDC. The timing discs are for use on the crankshaft, not on any half-time shafts. Other than the 'generic' disc, all discs are marked with the valve opening and closing angles and ignition angles as stated.
